Frequently asked questions
Will I still look like myself?
Yes. The model treats your face as the visual anchor and adapts your real features into expressive anime eyes and contours. It won't change your age, swap your hairstyle, or turn you into a different person.
Does it really change the whole image, or just the person?
The whole image. The background, textures, props, and surrounding space are all repainted in the same anime language — there are no realistic leftovers and no mixed photo-and-anime sections.
Will it add things that weren't in my photo?
It may add native anime energy like rim light, glow, motion streaks, or atmospheric particles to heighten the scene. It won't invent new body parts, replace your outfit with a costume, or add text, logos, or watermarks.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, reasonably lit shot with a readable pose and visible face. Sharper subjects and uncluttered framing give the cleanest, most dramatic anime result.
Will my photo be cropped or reshaped?
No. The original aspect ratio, crop, orientation, and framing are locked. The anime key-visual feeling is adapted inside your image's existing boundaries.
Can I use the result commercially?
Yes — generated images on upsa are yours to use for personal and commercial purposes. We recommend you keep the consent and rights to the source photo as well, since the output preserves the identity in it.
How long are my photos stored?
Source uploads and generated results are stored for 48 and then automatically deleted from upsa's storage. We don't train any model on your photos.

Each generation uses a different random seed, so your result may not exactly match the example shown. If the first try doesn't fit what you had in mind, run it again — output differs noticeably between runs.
