What it does

Splits a single headshot down the facial midline — left half youthful, right half realistically aged. Same identity, dramatic light, black background.

Two Ages is a hyper-realistic identity composite, not a side-by-side collage. Under the hood it runs the same generative edit pipeline as Recreate, but the prompt is locked onto a strict split-portrait construction: one continuous close-up headshot of one person, vertically split exactly along the facial midline. The LEFT half of the face represents the subject's vibrant youth — smooth supple skin, full natural-color hair, bright clear eyes, a firm jawline, and taut features. The RIGHT half shows the SAME subject realistically aged into elderly years, with fine convincing wrinkles around eyes, mouth and forehead, subtle age spots, gently sagging skin, and naturally silver or white hair on that side. Identity, head pose, framing, camera angle, gaze direction and expression are preserved as a strict layout guide. Both halves remain anatomically aligned, sharing one nose ridge, one mouth line, one chin and one neck, so the result reads as a single continuous head — never as two photos stitched together. Hair flows from one continuous skull, with each side reflecting its age. Lighting is high-end and dramatic, with a single consistent direction across both halves, so the age contrast is rendered into the skin and hair rather than painted by light. Focus is tack-sharp on skin texture: visible pore detail on the youthful side, fine-line wrinkle and skin-grain detail on the aged side. The background is solid pure black with no gradient and no vignette change between halves, so the eye lands squarely on the face. The mood is cinematic and contemplative — well suited to editorial covers, anti-ageing campaigns, posters, identity art, and any concept where you want a single image to carry the weight of an entire lifetime.

When to use it

  • Editorial covers and concept-driven magazine spreads
  • Anti-ageing and skincare brand campaigns
  • Posters for biopic, drama or documentary projects
  • Identity art for personal portfolios and gallery pieces
  • Then-and-now retrospectives and milestone-birthday gifts
  • Cinematic key art for short films exploring time and memory

When not to use it

  • Documentary or evidentiary use where photographic accuracy is required
  • Group shots — the model is locked onto a single-person split portrait
  • Subjects without a clear front-facing close-up of the face
  • Use cases that need an unaltered, non-aged version of the subject

How it works

Two Ages runs the same generative edit model as Recreate but with a prompt locked onto a strict split-portrait construction: one continuous close-up headshot of one person, vertically split exactly along the facial midline, with the LEFT half rendered as the subject's vibrant youth and the RIGHT half as the same subject realistically aged with fine wrinkles and silver hair. Identity, head pose, framing, gaze and lighting direction are preserved; both halves stay anatomically aligned so the result reads as one continuous head. Background is solid pure black. Results typically return in about 15 seconds on GPU infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions

Will the result look like a side-by-side collage?

No. The model treats the image as one continuous head — both halves share a single nose, mouth, chin and neck, and the split is rendered into the skin and hair rather than being a hard seam between two photos.

Which side is young and which side is aged?

The LEFT half is the youthful version of the subject. The RIGHT half is the same person realistically aged into elderly years, with fine wrinkles, subtle age spots and naturally silver or white hair.

Will it still look like me?

Yes. Identity, head pose, framing, gaze direction and expression are preserved as a strict layout guide. Both halves share the same underlying facial geometry, so the result reads unmistakably as you — at two ages.

Is the aging realistic or cartoonish?

Realistic. The model targets fine convincing wrinkles, subtle age spots, gentle skin laxity and naturally silver hair — not exaggerated old-age makeup. The young side stays naturally smooth, with visible pore detail rather than airbrushed.

Will the background or framing change?

The background is replaced with solid pure black to focus the eye on the face. Head pose, framing and camera angle are preserved from the source image.

Can I print or use the result commercially?

Yes. The output is yours — no watermark, no branding. Use it for prints, drops, marketing, or merch.

Where are my photos stored?

Photos are processed temporarily and auto-deleted within 48 hours. We do not keep copies and we do not train models on your photos.

AI results vary

Each generation uses a different random seed, so your result may not exactly match the example shown. If the first try doesn't fit what you had in mind, run it again — output differs noticeably between runs.
