How it works
Upload a photo and the whole scene is rebuilt out of hand-torn paper. Faces, clothing, background, and shadows are reconstructed from overlapping scraps with ripped edges, layered seams, and glue marks, while your pose, framing, and identity are kept faithful to the original. Will it still look like me?
Yes. The collage is built to follow your features, pose, and expression, so the person stays recognizable. The identity is preserved in how the torn paper is arranged, even though every surface becomes paper.
How torn-paper does it actually look?
Strongly. This is a full handmade-collage effect, not a light texture overlay. Skin, hair, clothing, and background are all rebuilt from overlapping scraps with ripped edges, visible seams, and glue marks, so it reads as a real physical piece.
Will it add or remove anything from my photo?
No. It keeps your scene as-is — it won't invent a new background, add extra people, or drop anyone. Everything visible, including pets and objects, is converted into the same paper-collage style.
What kind of photo works best?
Clear, well-lit photos where the subject is fairly large in the frame work best. Tiny faces in big group shots can lose detail once features are rebuilt from paper pieces.
Will it change my photo's shape or crop?
No. Your framing, aspect ratio, camera angle, and crop are kept faithful to the original — the collage is applied within the composition you uploaded.
Can I use the result commercially?
Yes — generated images on upsa are yours to use for personal and commercial purposes. We recommend you keep the consent and rights to the source photo as well, since the output preserves the identity in it.
How long are my photos stored?
Source uploads and generated results are stored for 48 and then automatically deleted from upsa's storage. We don't train any model on your photos.
