What it does

Re-renders portraits like a still from a modern AAA open-world game. Same face, cinematic HDR lighting, vibrant color grade.

Game Style applies a curated cinematic transformation to portraits and people-in-scene photos. Under the hood it runs the same generative edit pipeline as Recreate, but with a prompt engineered for one thing: producing a grounded, semi-realistic "next-gen AAA game" look. Identity is the priority. The subject’s face, body, pose, and the overall composition of the frame are preserved. What changes is the finish: HDR lighting with realistic shadows and reflections; detailed skin texture that keeps natural imperfections rather than smoothing them into plastic; a warm sunset / neon-coastal color grade — warm highlights, teal-pushed shadows, controlled saturation; shallow depth of field and atmosphere for immersion. The model is explicitly instructed to avoid the pitfalls — no thick outlines, no exaggerated proportions, no cartoon or comic conversion, no stylized illustration. The goal is a result that reads as a still from a modern open-world game, not a caricature. Backgrounds, when present, get a soft push toward neon-lit urban luxury: palm trees, night glow, sunset light, coastline.

When to use it

  • Profile picture makeovers with a AAA cinematic edge
  • Social content where a single portrait needs to stand out in feed
  • Fan-style game-character reinterpretations of yourself or friends
  • Neon-coastal sunset / night mood shots from ordinary photos
  • Cover images for streams, podcasts, or gaming-community posts

When not to use it

  • Situations where the output must be photographically faithful (documents, IDs, journalism)
  • Converting photos into cartoon, anime, or comic-book style — this model stays semi-realistic
  • Reimagining the scene or adding content (new people, different locations, outfit swaps)
  • Group photos where every person must be perfectly preserved — the more faces, the harder the likeness holds

How it works

Game Style runs the same generative edit model as Recreate but with a carefully engineered prompt that pushes the output toward a modern AAA open-world game aesthetic. The source photo acts as a strict identity and composition guide; the prompt dictates lighting, color grade, texture behaviour, and the negative constraints that keep the output from drifting into cartoon territory. Results typically return in about 15 seconds on GPU infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions

Will I still look like myself?

Yes. The model is explicitly instructed to preserve identity — face, pose, composition — and only change the finish: lighting, texture, and color grade. Recognisable features stay intact.

Is this tied to any specific game?

No. It is upsa’s own cinematic AAA game-style transformation — designed to evoke the look and feel of modern open-world games without imitating any specific title, studio, or brand.

How is this different from Recreate?

Recreate aims for a faithful, higher-detail version of the source. Game Style deliberately applies a stylistic transformation on top — HDR lighting, cinematic color, polished AAA-game finish. Same underlying engine, very different prompt and intent.

Does it work on group photos?

It works best on single-subject portraits. Groups are possible but the likeness of every face becomes harder to hold as the number of faces grows.

Can it change my outfit, hair, or the background?

No. The prompt is constrained to keep content and composition intact; only the stylistic finish changes. If you want to change content, pick a different tool.

Is the result watermarked?

No. upsa never watermarks or brands your output. The result is yours — save, print, share anywhere.

Where are my photos stored?

Photos are processed temporarily and auto-deleted within 48 hours. We do not keep copies and we do not train models on your photos.

AI results vary

Each generation uses a different random seed, so your result may not exactly match the example shown. If the first try doesn't fit what you had in mind, run it again — output differs noticeably between runs.
